the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Armenian Center
for National and International Studies, my most sincere
congratulations go to all the staff and personally to Mr.
Raffi Hovannisian, who is the founder, President and the
inspirer of the Center.
The name of the Center itself proves the broad interests
and activities of this research group of high professionals,
brilliantly representing the capacities of the intellectual
potential present in the society.
It is my strong belief, that such think-tanks are vital
especially for countries undergoing transitional period
and estabilishing respect towards democracy and human rights.
In view of this, you should be proud of your efforts to
pave the way for Armenia to become a member of the family
of European states.
From the beginning, ACNIS being engaged in discussion
of questions of common interest, making analyses of current
political demography, giving recommendations for overcoming
greatly to the process towards peace for and progress.
With the deepest respect to your work, I would like to
congratulate once again the ACNIS staff, its founders and
friends and wish you a lot of success in the magnificent
adventure you are involved in and to thank personally Mr.
Raffi Hovannisian for the excellent cooperation we have
always enjoyed.
